The Office of Treasurer is responsible for the collection, custody and disbursement of County funds originating from the tax levies and other fees authorized by the Russell County Board of Supervisors. The Treasurer is also responsible for the collection of state funds under the Code of Virginia. The Treasurer is an elected official serving a four-year term.
